Intimately explore this beautiful coastal area by kayak and experience some of the most accessible and beautiful white sand beaches in Nova Scotia! After a brief orientation, we'll paddle through the calm waters of Jones Cove where seals are often found sunbathing at mid tide. We'll then travel to Spectacle Island and it's wooden lighthouse (circa 1873). We're often accompanied on the water by porpoises and have even encountered whales! Depending on the winds, we'll either explore the southern islands, including Port Mouton Island, or spend time on Carters Beach, arguably the most pristine white sand beach in Nova Scotia.
