Service Description

Kayak rolling and self-rescue are fundamental skills in sea kayaking. Join Candlebox Kayaking for a 2-hour self-guided rolling and rescue session to develop some of the most confidence-inspiring skills in the sport. This session provides a warm, calm, and controlled environment to refine your technique and build muscle memory before the spring paddling season begins. Session includes: - 2hrs of pool access for self-guided rolling and rescue practice. - A focused environment to practice high-repetition skills without the wind, waves, or cold temperatures of the open ocean. Important Note: This is a self-guided session. Participants must provide their own kayak and all necessary equipment (spray skirt, PFD, etc.). Please ensure all gear is thoroughly rinsed and free of debris before entering the pool. What people are saying: "Had a great time with Matt. I would recommend him to anyone for kayak coaching. He's patient, doesn't push if you don't want to. You would be very comfortable (getting) coaching with him." - Anson, Facebook
