Service Description

Shake off the rust and sharpen your whitewater skills before winter sets in! This focused one-day session is designed for paddlers who already have some whitewater experience and want to refresh and refine their technique. We’ll revisit fundamental strokes, edging, and boat control before moving into dynamic features where you can practice ferries, peel-outs, and surfing. Expect a mix of skills coaching, personalized feedback, and plenty of fun time on the river. Training includes: - 1 day of instruction with Candlebox Kayaking’s experienced, highly certified, expert instructors High-quality equipment including kayaks by Jackson Kayak, paddles by Werner, drysuits by Kokatat (on a first come/first served basis), and all other necessary safety equipment - Experience on an intermediate (Class 2+) whitewater run on Nova Scotia’s South Shore What people are saying: "I have had two days of intermediate white water training with Matt DeLong.
